Today we had a go at writing a couple of group haiku poems. An haiku is a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables over three lines. Can you remember how many syllables there are in each line?

Tell us what you think of our poems:

Eat at sushi bar

Chopsticks are tricky but fun

Sitting at low tables

Carp streamers are fun

Blowing in the wind softly

Celebrate children
