Japanese Cherry Blossom

July 24th, 2017 · No Comments · Uncategorized

Sakura is the Japanese word for cherry blossom, which blooms across Japan between March and May each year. The season is eagerly anticipated during the winter months, and while the blossom is out crowds of people flock to parks, gardens and riversides to see it.

This afternoon we had a go at creating our own cherry blossom trees using a black felt tip pen, a cotton bud, pink paint and a piece of paper.

What do you think?

Do they look like trees?
