Japanese Cherry Blossom

Koinobori (Carp Streamers)

Today we all made a Koinobori. Koinobori (鯉のぼり), meaning “carp streamer” in Japanese, are carp-shaped wind socks traditionally flown in Japan to celebrate Children’s Day. We had a great time designing our own Koinobori using lots of bright colours.
