Representing numbers using dienes

Today we have been using dienes to represent numbers up to 1000. We experimented with the ones, tens and 100 flats to make different numbers. We also had a go at writing some of the numbers in both numerals and words. How many 100 flats would we need to use to represent the number 456?

Ordering Japanese numbers
